Air Architecture

Me and my good friend James Mellors were walking through the heat and the bustle of the crowd of tram-lines festival Sheffield 2011 with a banging hangover and although i usually am all up for festive spirit, it was not ideal, and when we saw this little haven in the brochure we just had to go. Honestly no one could ask for a more comporting or ambient place to be after a heavy night on the town, i felt as if i was willingly being abducted into the care of eco-friendly, magical healing aliens. we sat in there for an hour or so taking pictures and basking in the all natural light, listening to the sound of the slow paced electronic music that slithered in and out of our ears. When we finally left recuperated and full of life, as if we had been at hippie soul cleansing camp for 6 months. If you ever get a chance to see this exhibition do! Its cheap and so worth it.

party

Because everybody loves a party, whether it includes tea and cucumber sandwiches or cheap cider and MDMA, the best smiles happen at a party, and i like to be there to capture them.

portrait

In the most modest way possibly, i know some very beautiful people, but only a handful of those actually let me take their picture. Here are my favorite portraits of my friends and myself that i have taken over the years.
